THE yoga


With a balanced approach to wellbeing, you'll enjoy a variety of Yoga sessions inspired by Vinyasa and Hatha styles. I always teach with options, so you feel supported to challenge yourself or take it easy, whichever feels right for you in that moment.
Our morning sessions will be energising with a focus of strength as well as stretching, while evening sessions will be relaxing. Additional wellbeing sessions, such as meditation and yoga nidra, will help you find a complete sense of release while on the retreat and also provide you with skills to use at home to maintain a sense of calm in daily life.
THE FOOD
Meals are a highlight of the weekend; freshly prepared dishes that are both delicious and nourishing. Forget any notions of restrictive health retreats; you'll enjoy satisfying meals, snacks and desserts. Most dietary requirements can be catered for.

The retreat house offers luxurious accommodation set within five acres of stunning Lake District countryside. Each room is thoughtfully designed, blending modern comforts with countryside charm. All rooms feature en-suite bathrooms. There are two room options to pick from.

Do I need Yoga experience?
My classes are designed to accommodate all levels, so you don't need to be a yoga pro but some experience of yoga is recommended. If you know your downward facing dog from your savasana that's a good start!
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothing for yoga, a yoga mat, suitable footwear for hiking and any personal items and maybe a good book.
Are dietary requirements accommodated?
Yes, most dietary needs can be catered for. Please inform us of any specific requirements when you book.
Is transport provided?
While transport isn't included, The Heaning Estate is easily accessible by car and Windermere train station is just a 5-minute taxi ride away.
Can I book a room with a friend?
Absolutely. If you're attending with a friend and wish to share a room we have twin rooms available. It is also possible to book a double occupancy rate for the king rooms.
What is the cancellation policy?
The retreat in non refundable.
Are spaces limited?
Yes, there are a limited number of spaces. The retreat will be kept small to ensure you have the best experience. Please note some room types may sell out.
