Hi, I'm Naomi a Yoga Teacher, Meditation Teacher and Personal Trainer. I believe that wellness, heath and movement for can be for everyone! I am based in Taunton, Somerset but also offer online courses and classes.

My own yoga journey is very relatable. I started yoga when I was very inflexible. I loved the gym and had heard yoga would help me with my gym workouts, in reality it has helped me with so much more. Yoga has taught me patience and persistence as well as a whole host of other invaluable things. I credit yoga for getting me through two university degrees in one piece! Meditation came slightly later in my yoga journey but now I meditate as often as I practice yoga so that I can keep my mind strong and flexible too.

I want to share with you everything yoga and meditation have taught me so you can experience all the benefits too, scientific and magical. MY QUALIFICATIONS

I completed my Yoga Alliance accredited 200 hour Teacher Training Course in 2016 based in Morocco, run by Yogahaven. This was a Vinyasa flow focused course but involved elements from other styles too.

 

In 2017 I did a pranayama training which I like to draw from at the start and end of classes to help focus, calm or energise students.

 

Meditation is an integral part of the traditional yoga roots and therefore wanting to take the mental side of my own practice and my students’ practice deeper I completed a Yoga Alliance accredited 100 hour meditation teacher training with beanddo in 2017.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My classes have an element of fluidity when it comes to the style of yoga. I enjoy teaching a mixture of styles to suit everyone in my classes. Generally, this will revolve around a vinyasa style foundation of varying pace, but sometimes I teach a hatha style class to help you get to grips with a certain alignment or to provide a more restorative class. I have taught classes ranging from ‘yogi core’ to ‘disco yoga’ and enjoy finding the right combination of styles to suit each class.

 

I practise and teach down to earth meditation which can be easily incorporated into the modern-day lifestyle, helping my you to find your own meditation path that fits with your life.
